Done with school!

I'm done with school! WOO HOO! I never have to go back there again (expect for graduation) but no more classes! I thought this day would never come and I'm so excited that I actually did it. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone next Saturday!

Flooding on Lindsay in Norman

Here's a picture from The Oklahoman that shows how bad Lindsay street was flooding today. Lindsay is the main street that goes by OU. I can't believe how much rain we got today.

Melissa's Senior Show

Melissa's senior show was last night and it was awesome! It was so cool to see all the stuff she's put together this semester. Other great news is that she got the job that she had interviewed for at Range and has also been offered 2 other freelance jobs! Who wouldn't want to hire her though? Here are some of the pictures from last night.

Baby Bedding

Here is the bedding I've finally decided on. I've looked through so many and it was hard to find something that had the right shades of green, brown and pink that I wanted. We are painting the walls the green color that's in the bedding.

Hayley Kay Strain

Here is one of the Ultrasound pictures of Hayley. During the ultrasound we got to see her move and it was sooo awesome! We could even see her moving her mouth.

House - Vent

As you might have guessed, we still haven't closed on the house. We "should" be closing on Friday. I really doubt that will happen. We should have closed 2 weeks ago. My hopes are completely lost for moving in this weekend. JJ still thinks we will. It's getting really frustrating because we have all the electricity, etc. getting turned on on Friday since we were supposed to close at the very very latest Tuesday. We also have appliances being delivered on Saturday that we'll most likely have to cancel. My guess is that we won't be moving in until a week from Friday now. Yay! 3 weeks late!

My advice for anyone that wants to buy a house in the future, make sure you have a place to live a few weeks after you're "supposed" to close.

Jobs

Nathan just got a job at Yo! Naturals as a web developer, which is so exciting! It sounds like a great job and he seems to really enjoy it so far. It's right near the beach too so how can you beat that. Congratulations Nathan!! Check out their website here: Yo!Naturals

Melissa has an interview at Range, which looks to be an amazing graphic design company. The job is in Dallas and we really hope she gets it. Good luck Melissa!!

Monday!!!

We just got a call and we are officially closing on Monday!!!!! We are so excited and can't wait. We were supposed to close last Monday so it's a week late but we're so happy it's finally here. We probably won't be able to get the keys until next Friday unless the sellers move out on Sunday.

Now it's time to start packing. We'll be going down to the house every weekend so we're trying to bring stuff each time. We are having the movers come on May 1st to move everything out of our apartment. I don't have any finals, so minus graduation, I'm done with school on April, 30th and I will officially move down there. JJ will be staying up at the apartment since he still has school. He is planning on cleaning the apartment and re-painting it once it's empty.

16 Week Doctor Visit

So I had my 16 week check up today and everything looked good. The baby's heartbeat was at 154bpm and the baby measured good. I will be having my BIG ultrasound 2 weeks from today and we will get to find out if it's a BOY or GIRL!!! These next 2 weeks will go by way too slow. My next and last regular checkup at this doctor's office will be on May 1st (Aunt Sandra's B-Day, YAY!) and I will be 20 weeks. After that I will need to find a doctor down in Texas.

In the next few weeks the baby will go through a growth spurt and will double his weight and add inches to his length. And I'll probably add inches to my belly. Anytime between now and 20 weeks I should start feeling the baby move. So many exciting new things in these next 4 weeks!
