So BIG!

Hayley is now lifting her head up so good! She's even on the verge of rolling over. You can get a quick glimpse in this video. She's even better when she's in her crib on her back and trying to roll over on her tummy. I give it 1-2 more weeks and she'll be a rollie pollie!

By the way here is the video camera I bought to take all these video's with. It's about the size of my phone.

Who does she look like?

Click on pictures for a bigger view :)

And for fun...here is a picture of my mom:

Grab your popcorn!

Video I took with my new camcorder that Kevin told me about. Thanks Kevin! I will tell you more about this awesome little device later. But now it's time for the video I took of Hayley today.

Shake, shake, shake!

Hayley just held a rattle for the first time! It was so neat!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving over at Melissa and Kevin's house! Thanks Melissa for the wonderful yummy food and all of the cool decorating you did. Melissa recently painted one of their walls with chalkboard paint and we all had fun writing on it. She also made the table settings really nice with unique centerpieces. So creative all the time.

I was glad to hear that mom and dad had a great Thanksgiving with Nathan and Roxy! Maybe next year we can all be together.

Spotted this from our backyard tonight and had to take some pictures. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving tomorrow! I'm sure I will have some Thanksgiving pictures to post later.

Hayley's Doctor Visit & More Bridal Pics

Today Hayley got her first set of shots. She got 6 vaccinations, but they combined them into 3 shots and one that she drank. She also got some Tylenol to help with pain and fever. She screamed her head off when they gave it to her and it sucked! But she was better after 5 minutes. Other news at the visit: She gained 3lbs, her head grew A LOT, and she is 2in longer. Everything else looked good. She told me what to do for her rash on her neck and her little chapped lip.

Her next appointment is at 4 months, Jan 22nd. She will be given another round of shots then.

I probably won't post anything again until Thanksgiving so I hope everyone has a great one! We will be going over to Melissa and Kevin's house for Thanksgiving and there will be a ton of people! Kevin's family, and the Strains, including aunts, uncles and cousins will be there! It will be a full house and should be a great time. Especially with all of Melissa's wonderful food, YUM!

Here are a few more shots from that bridal session :)

Christmas came early

Whenever Hayley does something new it feels like it's Christmas time. I get all excited and wake up every morning ready to see her do it again. The new thing Hayley has started doing is watching and following us with her eyes when we walk across the room. She moves her whole head in the direction we are just to see us. It's so great to see how she really knows us now.

The other new thing she has been doing, and I thought it was a fluke at first, is sleeping 3-5 hours straight!!!! I haven't even gotten 3 hours of sleep straight for 2 months now and she's been doing a 4 hour stretch a lot too. It's been going on for 3 days now, soooo, fingers crossed!

My mom's friend made this beautiful quilt for Hayley and stitched her name and birthday on the corner. We use this as her tummy time quilt now and eventually for her to play on.

My New Baby (not as awsome as my real baby)

FedEx brought me my new lens today! It's a Nikon 17-55mm and it's awesome. I've been wanting this thing for about a year now and finally gave in and bought it. Hopefully these coming weddings will pay for it. This is my widest fastest lens and I've been in desperate need of it for weddings. Here are some pics I took while playing around with it today :)
